More than 500 jobs could be coming to the Upstate soon. Sources have told News Channel 7 that a material manufacturing company is locating a manufacturing plant in Laurens County, with an R & D arm to be located at Clemson’s new ICAR campus. This will be a 500 million dollar plus economic investment for the Upstate, and will create more than 500 new jobs.
An official announcement is coming soon.
