Anyone remember the good ol' days of "First Night Greenville"? I really wish they'd bring that back, esp. with all the attention downtown gets now and all. Always thought that was a fun option for New Years Eve with family and friends, lots of stuff for all tastes all over downtown. The hypnotist was my favorite, and the fireworks at Midnight were cool too.

Anyway, thanks for the other suggestions for New Years Eve.

Do any of the surrounding towns have any New Year's events? Maybe in the downtown or at a park? Are there fireworks anywhere?
