Just wondering if there are any really good mexican restaurants in the Greenville area. Not chain type restaurants though. Thanks.

Is that considered Cal-Mex food?

I like papas and beer in Greenville too, although they are probably not considered authentic Mexican.

Never go to the one in Anderson though, blech. Their water tasted bad(Andersons fault not theirs) so I asked for a milk for my 2 year old son, they brought him sour milk.....they didn't even apologize, discount the bill, nothin. I had to stop eating between the water and milk I was totally grossed out. Haven't been able to go back since.

Mr. Salsa. Jack has a location in Taylors and at the Publix Shopping Center near Furman. Great food, service and it's the cleanest restaurant in Greenville.

It's been entirely too long since I last visited, but Rosalinda's on Pleasantburg is a longtime favorite.
