2nd vote for Flour Haven (wicked good pastries) and Southern Thymes Cafe in downtown Greer. Also, Tommy's Ham House has the best sweet potato pancakes!

This is an easy one. The two best places in town for breakfast is Tommy's Country Ham House and Stax Omega. I will say that I've had the pastries from Flour Haven. I will describe them with three words, oh my goodness. There are no better pastries in all of the Greenville area, and I have tried them all.

I just do not see the facination with Tommy's. I felt like I was being bombarded with news TV shows when I tried it. Seemed to be the same breakfast fare you can get about anywhere.

How many breakfast places make their own sausage like Tommy does? I have been there too many times to count and have never noticed the televisions. The sound must not be on.
