Long story short; I got very, very sick at a mens camping trip with my church and wound up in the hospital for 9 hours Saturday. After I was discharged, my pastor drove me home and we went through the drive thru at the Walgreens closest to my house, because it's the one we always go to. As we pulled up to the window a huge sign was plastered on it that said that "This pharmacy has been closed permanently by order of the SC Department of Health." It may have said DEA and not the BOH, can't remember. Either way, this is huge and I think it means that drugs were being sold "under the table" and without a prescription. I'm shocked that this hasn't been on the news or in the papers.
I'm voting you off this island. CVS has extracare bucks. What does Walgreens have? Yeah, not much.
Let's see, Walgreens has 24 hour stores for starters. They also have an expanded grocery section, generally new stores, and tend to be cleaner than CVS.
CVS has 24 hour stores. Just look at the intersection of East North Street and Pleasantburg Drive. You were in one? Did you faint?
