Interesting; I never knew there were alternate pronunciations. I always thought it was pray-leen, I'd never heard it pronounced it another way. On a side note I grew up pronouncing pecan pee-can, but about a year ago I switched to puh-cahn.

I've done a lot of long distance traveling with food. Nanner pudding will have to be transported in a cooler because of the milk content. It sounds like finger foods and a wet cloth might be more in order for this trip. Ot take the recipe and make the pudding when you arrive. I"ve done it too. I made a double recipe yesterday because one is never enough.

Good idea to make the banana pudding at the location, because banana pudding is best when fresh and warm from the oven, IMO. Yummm.
