We can't wait. Only disappointment is that the wont have the ready made salads, soups, sandwiches, burritos, sushi and wraps like they do in the west coast stores. Oh well.

Do you mean ready made like ones that you order and they make it on spot or ones you get out of the fridge things made in advance? The ones made in advance that are located in the fridge things are available at the Charlotte stores so i'm sure they would be here too.

We've been to every one in Charlotte and many in Atl. The one's in SoCal and the west coast have ready made pre-packaged salads like Greek salad, cobb salad, spinach salad, etc; as well as sushi, wraps, sandwiches and soups, brought in every day. it was a great lunch option. The stores in the southeast that I've been to do not have them.

So is that the store manager (in the WYFF video) that was mentioned earlier in this thread that transferred here? Looks like a pretty young guy, about to make some serious cash!

We were in Trader Joes in Atlanta last month and the manager told us that a new TJ's would be opening in Greenville in the same mall as Costco. When we asked when, he said in about a month....so that means sometimes in October. We're from NC and drive to Atlanta for great cheese and terrific inexpensive wine and beer, so having this store in Greenville cuts our driving time. I only hope they have an adequately large parking lot.

Originally, it was supposed to go in the same mall as Costco but that got changed due to the economic recession. It's going in about a mile away from Costco at the intersection of Interstate 85 and Woodruff Road next to Academy Sports and Outdoors. Opening is October 22nd. And yes the parking lot is very large thanks to Academy's size.
