I just viewed this and I think it's a great way to honor your father. 52 years old is too young to leave this world.

So sorry for your loss ... especially at such a young age ... I've also had to deal with a few deaths in my family and you are right Legacy does charge you after a while ... what I did was go to findagrave site and posted memorials for my mother, father, grandfather, grandmother and my brother and my brothers daughter (my niece) .... I included some info for each and some pictures .... the site allows you to connect each page to other family members ..and it allows others to post .... you can donate to the site but it is free ... the only reason I did it was because when my brother died the only entry for him on Legacy was that he died and who was left ... I felt that there was more to his life than just that ... it was the only way that I could work thru the grief I was feeling ... I still miss my brother terribly ...

What a beautiful memorial to your father. He seems like he was a great man and he was obviously loved very much. So sorry for your loss - I know your dad would be very proud of you and your memorial website.

My mom died almost 4 years ago and I miss her every minute of every day. Sending you a big hug!

Your memorial is beautiful. The deep love your have for your Dad clearly shines through. I also enjoyed the personalization of the "favorites" (we used to vacation in Wildwood when I was a kid). I'm so sorry about your Dad -- such a young man....gone way too soon. This is a wonderful tribute to him.
