My deepest condolences to you, Silver. I will keep you and your loved ones (and their families as well) in my prayers.

My condolences also, Silver. I know what a terrible time of year this is to lose someone. My mother was murdered in Hollywood on Thanksgiving Day in 1987. Although she was alcoholic and schizophrenic, and hopefully had no idea what was happening, I still think of her every year around this time. It's difficult to lose someone when you're so young; I was only 24 years old then.

Default thank you

Thanks again all for your kind words. It's appreciated.

We had the services this weekend - they were arranged pretty quickly. It did help both my fiancee and I to be around her family and childhood friends. We shared pictures and stories, cried and laughed.

Her dogs know she won't be coming home - it's weird how they can sense it. So we just inherited two 1 year old boxers. They were her pride and joy; they will now be our pride and joy.

Thanks again for the comments, and my condolences to all of you who lost someone so dear.

Life goes on.

Silver,

Amazing how life can change so quickly. While many of us are still carving away at leftover turkey, you have found the time to say goodbye to a dear friend. God bless you for adopting those dogs. She trusted you with those animals for a reason and now she can rest in peace, knowing they are safe. My heart goes out to all of you. - greenie
