I got in touch with a Baptist Minister in her town...but it wasnt the church she goes to and he didnt know her. He did say they would hold her in their prayers. There are several other Baptist Churches in that town.....it is NC after all.
I just sent another email to another Baptist Church in New London. They had a prayer request line on their website. This is what I said,

I have a friend who lives in New London NC. Her name is -Moderator cut: Name redacted. She has been having significant health issues and has never really gotten over the loss of her husband from ALS disease. She was recently diagnosed with cancer. I know that she is frightened and pretty much alone.
She did form an on line support group of cyber friends, that is how I have kept in touch with her and she is a religious woman. I know she attends church in New London and that it is most likely a Baptist Church. I remember her saying it wasnt the biggest church in town.
About two weeks ago her communications were a bit jumbled (?stroke)and she was very fearful of the cancer and of the treatments. Then she stopped communicating with us at all. There is a group of us who only know her on line....but are very worried for her. I have even checked obituaries in your area.
Do you know -Moderator cut: Name redacted. If so please let her know that her friends are concerned....sending love and Prayers for her.
If you do know her or locate her......please let me know. Please hold her in your prayers.

I suspect after being stabilized from the stroke she was sent to rehab to gain her strength. Medicare/Medicaid will pay for up to 90 to 100 days. Hopefully her daughter will eventually be in touch. Or she is still in the hospital. I imagine she's in the closest one of size.
Elston thank you for all you've done. We'll just have to say our prayers and patiently wait for an answer.
