Today seems very long to me for some reason. I suppose I am looking forward to seeing my family on Easter. Guess I'll take BuBu for another walk. He seems to always enjoy that.

The guy brought my lawn mower back today and said it really wasn't bad--he fixed a few loose bolts, sharpened the blades and changed the oil. He said the problem is I don't weigh enough so I should put a 50 pound bag of sand on the back!!! And to slow down. He was only going to charge me for parts and no labor and then he found some things out in the metal building he liked so he ended up paying me! He said he'd be back because he saw some more things he likes....nice guy...God is good!

I did get up and mow the dogs yard--not without a problem first. Had to call the guy and he came back and turned off the brake--I had no clue where it was. Tried using a pillow but I don't weigh enough and with the pillow it won't set the button under the seat to make the mower run. Not sure how to work on this one. The guy told me to just take my time---it already takes 2 days. Oh well....

Cyn put a big bag of rice in a sling drape it over the back of the seat that way it won't bother you sitting on the seat. We had to do this with our son when he was growing up teaching him how to mow he was old enough just didn't weigh enough to hold the seat down. Especially if he hit a bump out in the pasture.

Happy Easter y'all headed out of town for the day then another dinner tomorrow.

Happy Easter to you too! Yep, everything is sure in full bloom--beautiful! Looking so forward to seeing my babies tomorrow--not looking forward to the long drive but we do what we have to if we want to see them! They grow so fast.

That's right cyn--we do. I just confirmed arrangements to drive up to SC to visit my son and dil and grand daughter the first weekend in May. Looking forward to it and to visiting Charleston....a lovely city.
They have a new house since we last visited them.....and it sounds beautiful. My son says the yard and gardens are truly amazing....I have seen pictures of azaleas, clemantis, ornamental crab apple, dogwood, lime in full bloom. Everyday they are discovering new surprises growing and blossoming.
