I really feel so much lighter after I see this therapist---she is just that good for me! Once again she understands me so well and points out my positives and understands my fears. I am blessed to have her. I won't be able to see her as much as I'd like or need because of the cost and I know they will let a person pay what they can afford but I respect her so much and know they have bills too so I will probably limit myself to what I can afford. It was good positive session! It has been about 6 months since our last session and then she graduated and has been trying to open her own place in town to help women--her vision! A beautiful woman!

Cyn, hope the session with "therapist" went well

I had the dealer work on my 2004 Subaru Forester, a bit expensive but it now runs perfectly. Always good to get work done by an expert.

Getting the car out for repair was a step forward in my battle with bereavement paralysis - can't say I feel a lot better right now, suppose that's why I stopped by here.

I still have the two guest dogs, so lots of company... albeit dogs.

Wishing the best for us all.

Sounds good Jerry! Glad you stopped by--always enjoy having you here!
I am off to get my taxes done. H&R Block said I didn't make enough for them to do it would end up costing me as much as I've paid in so now I'm going to the senior center where they do it for free. Will stop in later.......

Don't have to file. Guess I didn't pay anything in and so I sure won't get anything back. Next year....

I assume you started working at the pet store in 2016, I am sure (absent any facts) that you paid withholding tax there... but I am not up to speed on where the cutoff is happily (I guess) I have to pay income tax. It may be below a certain level an employer does not withhold and send to the government tax withholding.

I am also sure, absent any facts, the people at the senior center know what they are doing. I say only from what I have read with less than full attention that there is some level of income below which one can get a "refund" in effect a subsidy. I think it worth discussing those rules with the free service at the senior center. Nice H&R didn't charge you to tell you the same thing.

My senior center is run by county government and they take care to be sure Volunteers know what they are doing and how to do it... this must apply doubly for income tax advice.

Just bringing up a lot of work, but sent just-in-case you may qualify for some help you are not getting. Hope not to send false hope.

I worked a couple of months in 2015 but was only working 2 days a week so the amount earned was very little. Sadly I am not 65 yet so I cannot earn some kind of credits that are offered for people 65 and over. Not enough, to young always something it seems.
Had to make a special run back to the vets after I got home--like I could afford that but you do what needs to be done. My one kitty "405" was choking and puking and we've been through this before. It just gets worse. For some reason the kind of cat she is get this inflamed gums and extra saliva and it causes choking. He gave her 2 shots and sent us home. I'm pretty down---I need a positive...of course having her feel better soon will be a positive but right now.....Maybe I'll go for a ride. It's a beautiful day and I sure don't need to sit here worrying.

Maybe a little..thanks for asking. I think it will take a couple of days though. Woke up to my computer connection turned off...guess one of the cats walked on the switch and even though I switched it back on and now not all of the lights are on....not sure if that matters as it seems to be working now. We'll see I guess.

Work was long last night. We are trying to set up some displays for some Bearded Dragons and Leopard Geckos--our soon to be newest additions! Plus we had several boxes to unload and stock. I got home at 9:45pm and was tired. Today I have already been warned will be tough. We're getting in lots more then normal.....something about having to buy certain amounts of some items. Not sure where they plan on putting it but I suppose we'll work it out.
Have a blessed day everyone.
