It has been awful here. The other day it was -17. It's up to +10 now I think.

I hear you Cyn. Getting cabin fever here too. My car door is frozen shut & I'm waiting for it to be warmer to call roadside assistance. I figure if I don't want to out in that, I certainly don't want to be the cause for someone else to freeze.

Just like you, I have plenty of food so no need to go out.

My church is closed today! I tried to open my car door yesterday just to turn my car on and melt some of the ice but when I opened the door the rubber came off. I was able to put it back on but I know it will now have to be repaired. Ugh! My neighbors behind me stopped by when they were getting hay out of my shop and asked if I wanted to go anywhere. How nice. They are in a different neighborhood behind me and on a paved road plus they have 4 wheel drive vehicles. I told them I don't really need to go anywhere but could use some help to get my car moved back and forth to get some kind of tracks in the snow so they will hopefully melt some. So that is what we have planned to do today. It won't take long but my driveway is long so I just need to go back and forth a few times. My car started with no problem so that was nice. It is 9 degrees outside so I totally hear what you are saying meo. Never thought it would be this cold here when we moved...live and learn!
Please be safe everyone and have a nice day!

Quite cool here (everything is relative).....but will warm up as the day moves on. It is definately long pants and long sleeve weather this morning. Yesterday was rainy and windy and cool all day.....we had almost an inch of rain.

I am looking forward to going to my meeting this morning.

My son sent me a lovely book of blessings yesterday. I love it. https://books.google.com/books/about...kp_cover&hl=en

Looks like a good book elston! Enjoy!
The neighbor behind me came over and scraped the ice off my windshield---not that I can go anywhere but at least I can see if and when I get out! Nice of him!

That was nice. Today we were having freezing snow but it's since stopped. Tennessee, here I come.

Actually, there's strange weather everywhere. Spring will come sometime. My car door will open & I will visit Tennessee to see if it will be my forever place.

I often make spinach rice casserole for my comfort food on days like this. Tonight it is vegetable rice as I am out of spinach. Who knows, I may have just created a new comfort food go to. You get creative with what's on hand in weather like this.
