I know meo---I often reflect on how so many others have it so much worse and then I feel badly for feeling so sorry for myself. It is something I have to keep working on--my grateful list!
Warming up here as well elko--today I see my therapist. It's been awhile because of the holidays so I really will enjoy seeing her!
I didn't sleep very well last night--had very strange scary dreams. Then wide awake at 3am. Been awake since then. Hope tonight is better....
Hope all have a blessed day!

Yeah. We're supposed to have a warm-up soon, or so they say.
I don't dare drive in bad weather or I would already be going to Tennessee. As soon as it's OK though, think I will just go.
We have our annual income check tomorrow so maybe my rent will go down. We'll see.
I'm not going to let that determine my decision. I told myself this was my defining year & it has proved that this is it. I don't want to go through one more winter.
In a way it is a relief to finally make a decision. All I have to get through is his month or two. Then the decision making as to what to keep & what to get rid of.
Thank God for working all those years & finally retiring.
Thank God for working all those years & finally retiring.
I'm happy you got there - I am starting to focus on retirement now - I have 4 years, 7 months, 21 days, 21 hours and 4 minutes ta go until I plan on retiring from full time work. We will probably move away from the KC Metro but you never know - we are liking Kansas City more than we thought we ever would.
We (my wife and I) may work together in part-time cleaning jobs in order ta make money to pay for medical care until our Medicare kicks in at 65 years of age - very good possibility of that. Then, at 65, I'm gonna fully retire. I want some good years left ta live before...well, you know.
Good morning cyn, elston, Dude (where's he been?), meo and all of the rest of you all. Have great Wednesday's! I have tonight ta work and then I get 4 nights off. To study for re-taking my test. I have until Feb.28th ta pass that big boy.
The manager came to pick up our paperwork for this years rent. Hopefully mine will go down again. I told her of my plans to move & there won't be a problem as there is a waiting list for these apartments.
Last year I'd just received the settlement for the car accident and hadn't transferred it to investments before they needed the paperwork & my rent went up by $50 a month. This year I have enough to survive in the bank.
I haven't used much of the settlement money as I've been saving it to move & for future
unexpected expenses.
I plan on getting rid of a lot here but won't know what I want to keep until I find a place in Tennessee. But, I did buy new, good furniture & would take a loss if I sell it so will, most likely, take them with me.
So many decisions to make!
