I just filed a claim with my insurance co for some damage to my tile roof from Hurricane Irma......I don't like being a home owner.....I would rather someone else handle it. I also called to have our A/C serviced....I have been procrastinating. I did good to get two things done this morning.
Tomorrow (Friday) we will be going to an art show.....a friend of mine from quaker meeting....is having a one woman show.
My life is getting busy. lol
I know how you feel elston. Owning a home is a lot of work!! Like you I would rather have someone else handle it all!
It has turned out to be a lovely weather day! I do have to work but have enjoyed the morning. Poor Bubba was feeling pretty bad this morning so I had to medicate him and I hate doing that but now he's much better. Also had to take one of my kitties to the vet--seems he has a bladder infection. Never ending when I have a senior home for all of us!!!
cyn - it just goes on and on like that with our Pomeranian, too. He will run out of thyroid medicine in a few days and will have to see the vet first. Ugh. But it's pretty important that the strength of the thyroid medicine is accurate, hence the need for blood tests every so often to make sure he's getting the right amount of hypothroid medicine. So he'll go in as is required. He seems to be doing better since he's been on the thyroid medicine, so we're all for the need for regular checkups for him.
You are right elko! Never ending but that is life with our love for our fur-babies!
Looks like rain starting tomorrow and lasting for the next week off and on. Oh my!
Feeling a little down missing my daughter and her family today. Wish they would move out here!

She lives in California and they try to come every other year so she doesn't just stop by sadly.....I wish.That was a lovely thought though! Have been trying to get them to move out here but that isn't looking positive.
Lots of rain here today. I think I have to take my kitty back to the vet--he is worse now. Not sure if he is going to make it. I can't let him suffer so I will take him this morning.

I am so sorry that kitty is worse......I know what you are going thru....and am sorry. In my heart I am afraid that it is time for you let this kitty go and for him to be at rest and that would free both of you from so much repeated worry.
The time came when my own mother told the Dr. that she didnt want to be rushed to the hospital anymore.....only to be discharged and then re admitted a week later. The Doctor said, as long as you keep going to the hospital.....they have to treat you.....but your condition isnt really treatable. Mom told the dr to leave an order for the nurses at her care facility Not to call an ambulance the next time she was in heart failure....she passed away shortly after that. It was what she wanted and it spared her from more procedures and drama. She was old and had a very full life and her husband had passed away and us kids were not close by. Of course we came to be with her when she passed on.
You know what I am saying....if it doesnt fit kitty's situation just disregard it. I am trying to be compassionate and helpful.
