Always enjoy new people who blend in so well here! It adds some spice to the thread sometimes but still love our good old friends here too!
Work went good and got home before dark. My eye is looking better but it is going to take some time to heal. Thanks for all the well wishes!
Have a blessed day everyone!

We all have acquired our own battle scars, cyn, don't worry about it. It was your sincere effort to help that turtle that was golden. BTW - I'm going to watch out for turtles from now on and help them cross the road, too. I have driven by them several times but never stopped to help them. They just need a "lift" across the road is all.

See, you've inspired yet another person to do something good, cyn! Have a great Monday, cyn, and everyone else, too!

Be sure to take them to the side of the road they were heading towards and of course if possible way off the road! Thank you so much!

Good Morning friends. I was up early this morning. Got my linen closet straightened out and a load of laundry in the washer. It has been so hot that my dh soaks thru a couple of towels and several outfits...playing tennis. I nag him a little bit about making sure the is drinking lots of fluids; he does use a lot of salt ..... japanese diet is high in sodium.

I had to take Mr Man, my outside cat to the vet this morning. His leg was swollen and he was limping. I knew it was an abscess from fighting with this stray cat that comes by sometimes. Once infected it will not go away without an antibiotic. I don't even care to try to give him daily medication so I got him a shot. It was worth the money to know he will soon feel better! It was weird, on my way home I was driving very carefully because of the kitty and when I turned off the main hwy onto another street I had my turn signal on and this guy rolled his window down and yelled something about stopping---I guess he had to slow down when I turned and that upset him. I even checked my stop lights and turn lights when I got home in case they weren't working but they are fine. Oh well.....

Some people are just impatient drivers, cyn. Unfortunately, my husband is the same way. I am always telling him to just relax. At least he doesn't roll down his window and yell at other drivers. But I sure get an ear-ful in the car when he gets frustrated with other drivers (who are usually NOT doing anything wrong, just driving slower than he thinks they should.)
Otherwise, my hubby is a nice, kind, caring compassionate man. I truly don't know what happens when he gets behind the wheel of a car!
So don't take it personally

My dh used to regularly drive from Manhattan to PA every weekend. His driving and language was very aggressive...But thank God he has mellowed.....in Maine he would pull over on country roads to let faster driver pass him.....I like the mellow version.

Don't fight other drivers - they could get a gun out and shoot you. Unfortunately, that is where we are at these days.

Everyone have good Tuesday's out there!
