I called my grand son to wish him a 13th birthday and apologize for for getting to leave his card with a little cash in it. He said he'd have sent it back to me anyhow--all he wants from me is to beat this cancer. That's a tall order!! What a sweet boy!
I did better yesterday--only one very short nap and stayed up until 8pm. I woke up at 5am so feel better today too I hope. We leave for Myrtle Beach for the week today. It's suppose to rain pretty hard here so I hope it doesn't rain at the beach too. I'm very anxious about going away again but I know it is the best the to do. Hopefully it will relax me. Hope everyone has a blessed day! Prayers for those in the Calif fires!

I love going to the beach. I don't care if it's too hot or chilly and raining. I love the smell, the sound of the waves. It's my favorite lullaby.
I wish I were going, so will you enjoy it for me?
When I was little, our family vacationed at the New Jersey Shore. I wanted to move there when I grew up because I thought it was always summer down there. It's not, but I have fond memories of it.
I hope so too. If the weather there is like here in Florida....I hope she packed warm clothes.
