that you know will make you bawl your eyes out in rememberance of your loved one? And you just continue to listen and cry for hours? Welcome to my day.
Dylan, Paul Simon and Cat Stevens are killing me (for lack of a better word). Almost to the point I might throw up. But I can't stop.

I miss the hell out of my dad right now. Eleven years and some months since he took his life. If he only knew the love that surrounded him. Well, I know it wouldn't have changed things but I hope he knew how many people just loved him so much.

I hope beyond hope that you have found peace.

I had to stop listening to music all together for almost three years. I still can't listen to sad or love songs. At home I listen to Zen music. I find it calms me down.

I will say there was some music (Jack Johnson in particular) that helped me get through some terrible times right at the beginning.

I'm glad you're able to listen to peaceful, healing Zen music.

There are certain songs that I just switch off when they come on, even though years have passed. When I get in those emotional places, it helps me to switch to the Christian radio station or to the Christian/inspirational playlist I have saved.

I do that every once in a while, but I try to avoid it. There are a lot of songs and singers, musicians, which I can't listen to any more.

Yes I have a John Denver CD I listen to every once in awhile and it makes me think of both my mom and my sister. There are many other songs. I don't listen to music in the morning anymore because so many times it can bring me to tears. I listen to talk radio instead. I could still cry but for other reasons.
