Strikes me as totally weird; however, a lotta people are weird, so I don't doubt that it would sell.
I think hugging a pillow case, keeping an unwashed shirt, a blanket, etc. seems quite normal, and to me closer to a deceased person than a B.O. of Uncle Joe room spray.
On the other hand, there might be a thriving market for personal aroma scented toilet paper....."Do what you always want to do with mean ol' Aunt Harriet....buy the twelve-roll package and get two Aunt Harriet rolls free."
I think it seems sad and maybe would not be good for one's mental health in the long run. I agree, keeping items but extracting the scent from your deceased loved one, ah,
Now, I just had a thought to mess with someone, you get some of this and keep telling the person "She's here. Can't you smell her?" That way, you drive the other person over the edge and become the sole heir. I have no relatives to inherit from, darn!
There are probably more people out there willing to buy this product than one can imagine.
