a 'data-base' would be nice and handy on 'C-Data'

stuff like 'spreadsheets' and data & cost analysis / choices for;
funerals / moving / relocation / home buying / finance / travel / auto / job changes and salary negotiation ...

Funerals...

I felt a worthwhile contribution in helping this organization get a start. (start your own funeral co-op in your area, or join as an affiliate!) Saved thousands of people millions of dollars... resources here...
https://funerals.coop/

Since I do volunteer hospice and rural caregiving, (and had care of my own parents for 30+ yrs) I am GLAD I know about several funeral alternatives!

Don't ask... but... I did take my father's corpse on a 2500 mile 'road trip' and rented a backhoe to bury him... (and used his bugle to play TAPS and gave him a military / flag ceremony send-off... it was a HEALING experience (one I really needed!))

Best of luck in planning your next funeral.

I feel it would be very useful for people who are either planning ahead or faced with dealing with the death of a loved one, to have a sub forum that would deal with various questions about funerals, cemeteries, private and National, caskets, the various laws regarding what is and is not legal in this area.

Do you think that would be possible? and/or helpful?
It takes about 2 seconds to use the search function and find funeral threads.

Some states DO have state cemeteries for veterans of that state. Just google State Veteran cemeteries.
And yes the National Cemeteries you have to be a qualifying veteran or the spouse of the veteran or in some cases minor children.

Hmm, I have never seen nor heard of those State cemeteries. Unless they are the ones that are hundreds of years old that I know of.
