    JINDAL DID VERY WELL

    Governor Jindal made excellent points:
    * To solve our current economic problems, Washington must lead — but the way to lead is not raising taxes and putting more money in the hands of Washington, D.C. politicians. The way to lead is to empower the American people — the strength of America is not found in Washington, but in the enterprising spirit of our citizens.
    * Democrat leaders say their legislation will grow the economy. What it really does is grow the government, increase your taxes down the line and saddle your children and grandchildren with debt.
    * To strengthen our economy, Republicans believe we must keep energy prices down, improve education, and promote confidence in America by ensuring we have the most ethical and transparent system in the world.
CRAWFISH NOTE: Ignore the lib-media trashing…that was expected. All “same Party” critics, sit down and shut up! Jindal actually MEANS what he says…unlike the socialists.

It's interesting how Obama's greatest hero was a Republican, Abraham Lincoln.

3 STOOGES READY TO DESTROY ECONOMY

“Republican” Senators Curly Collins, Larry Snowe and Moe Specter are (as usual) going to sell out all common sense, all of what history teaches us and all conservative principles by voting for an ineffective porky vote-buying 1,000+ page $800 billion dollar democrat Bill that will cost you and your children 3 trillion dollars.
If they are not booted from the Party this year…no Republican should give a dime to the Party….whatever Party is left after this buy-off.
This is where we hold them accountable, this is where we fight. Not a dime.

Remember the famous Mustang Ranch in Nevada? About 1999 the owners got in trouble with the government for tax evasion. Well the government took over the ranch and ran it according to federal law. Unbelievably the ranch lost money and the government had to close it.

If the government can't make money selling booze and running prostitutes what makes them think that they can get this bailout to work?

Another thought crossed my mind and I suppose I shouldn't think of stuff like this but here it is. How could 2 million find their way to Washington DC to watch the inauguration in freezing weather and 30 to 40 thousand folks couldn't get out of New Orleans in 74 degree weather? Just thinkin.

I don't know if it is true or not. Heard that 2 million folks attended the inaguration and around 100 missed work.

Barack Obama may have stumbled over his words briefly during his
inauguration, but he made an even bigger blunder later Tuesday evening.
The newly sworn-in President opted not to appear at what should have
been one of the most important Balls on his agenda that evening -
"The Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball."

The Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball was begun in 1953 for President Dwight
Eisenhower's inauguration. The event recognized recipients of the Medal of
Honor, the nation's highest military award. There were 48 Medal of Honor
recipients in attendance, who were undoubtedly disappointed by the new
Commander-in-Chief's failure to show. Over the past 56 years and 14
inaugurations, no President has skipped this event - until now.

The Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball is sponsored by the American Legion,
and co-sponsored by 13 other veteran's service organizations, including
those such as the Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Military Order of
    the Purple Heart.

Instead of attending this ball honoring our nation's heroes, Obama was busy
making stops at 10 other official balls. Obama and his wife's first stop was at
the Neighborhood Ball. From there they went to the Home State Ball for Illinois
and Hawaii, the Commander-in-Chief Ball, the Youth Inaugural Ball, and the
Home State Ball for Delaware and Pennsylvania. They finished off the night
with brief appearances at the Mid-Atlantic, Western, Midwest, Eastern, and
    Southern regional Balls.

Celebrities were a plenty at the balls, with Stevie Wonder, Shakira, Mary. J. Blige,
Faith Hill, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine, will.i.am, Sting, Mariah Carey, and
Leonardo DiCaprio in attendance at the Neighborhood Ball. In addition, the other
nine balls also featured a star-studded lineup including Kanye West and Kid Rock
at the Youth Ball, Marc Anthony at the Western Ball, and Cheryl Crow at the Western
    Ball.

It was the party without all of the celebrities that Obama
skipped. The very people who he sought to have support
him during his candidacy and campaign, who have fought
to protect this country, were snubbed in favor of publicity
and the opportunity to rub shoulders - yet again - with the
    out-of-touch Hollywood elite!

OBAMA to GOP: SHUT UP AND SHARE BLAME

By CHARLES HURT, BUREAU CHIEF, January 23, 2009

WASHINGTON — President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.

“You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done,” he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.

One White House official confirmed the comment but said he was simply trying to make a larger point about bipartisan efforts.

“There are big things that unify Republicans and Democrats,” the official said. “We shouldn’t let partisan politics derail what are very important things that need to get done.”

CRAWFISH NOTE: Permit me to translate…only Democrats are allowed to stand on their principles when in the minority…we do not want comparisons or questions or plans to reach the voters, no scrutiny of trillion dollar socialist “borrow to spend” porky vote-buying bills is allowed…the liberal owners of “partisan politics” dare to accuse others (as they always always do)…democrats want only “shared blame”…so when it all goes to crap as it always has when socialists take over an economy (aka Jimmah Carter)…the libmedia diaper-changers can say “Republicans also supported….”.
Stand tall, resist this trashing of an economy…continue to challenge secular socialism and loudly offer alternatives!!!
