HONDURAS: THUG ZELAYA IGNORES CONSTITUTION

The country’s new government has vowed to arrest Zelaya for 18 alleged criminal acts including treason and failing to implement more than 80 laws approved by Congress since taking office in 2006.
Large crowds of Zelaya’s critics have staged their own daily demonstrations to back Micheletti, the congressional president who was named by lawmakers to finish out the final six months of the Zelaya’s term.
Most of the ousted leader’s supporters come from the working and middle classes of this impoverished nation…..
The military ousted Zelaya with the backing of Honduras’ political establishment, including the Supreme Court, Congress and Zelaya’s own party. He was insisting on following through with a referendum on constitutional change that the Supreme Court ruled illegal.
But by sending soldiers to shoot up the presidential residence and fly Zelaya into exile, the Micheletti government has brought itself universal condemnations from the United Nations and OAS. No nation has recognized the new government; U.S. President Barack Obama has united with conservative Alvaro Uribe of Colombia and leftist Hugo Chavez of Venezuela in criticism.
CRAWFISH NOTE: When the constitution of a country is totally ignored…whose side has all the lefty thugs in the region plus our own lefty thug Obama? Yep, the side of a Chavez or Castro Junior is where democrat J. Carter Obama picks to land. Makes sense to me.

Last Friday the House passed this cap-and-tax bill.
So now we have this 1,200 page long bill with a last-minute 300 page amendment filled with sweeteners and “place holders” … and no one really knows what’s in it. But it passed.
Almost a week later, we are coming to find more details on what exactly is in the darn thing. This is where you homeowners need to pay attention.
The plan is called REEP — Retrofit for Energy and Environmental Performance. If you sell your house, you will be required before to sell it to retrofit your home to meet any federal green guidelines drawn up by some government hacks. It says, “The Administrator shall develop and implement, in consultation with the Secretary of Energy, standards for a national energy and environmental building retrofit policy for single-family and multi-family residences … The purpose of the REEP program is to facilitate the retrofitting of existing buildings across the United States.” Details? That’s for the EPA to decide. Payment? Well that is up to the states to fund, and ultimately passed on to the taxpayers. Just another unfunded federal mandate.
The bottom line is that you put your home on the market, and as part of the closing process, you will have to cough up some sort of certificate to say that your home is compliant with green guidelines as promulgated by the federal Department of Energy. For example, does your home have roofing materials that reflect solar energy? That will be a requirement if you want to sell your home under green guidelines. That means that you as a homeowner will have to put a new roof on your home before you can sell it, and not just a new roof but one that reflects solar rays. How much does a new roof cost nowadays? Maybe $9,000 or $10,000. Yeah, and that’s just one of the mandates. The government is going to test air quality around your home, take infrared readings of your house. How much is all of this compliance going to cost you when you try to sell your home?
According to figures from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, “If we were to retrofit 3 million homes over the next decade, we would only consume 10 days less petroleum (.27% less). If we were to retrofit 10 times as many homes, 30 million, (which is almost certainly not possible to do in 10 years), we would save just 100 days of oil over a 10 year period (2.7% less).”
You let Barack Obama and the global warming nutcases out there get this cap-and-trade bill and you can bet that you will be paying out the nose as a homeowner.

What would you have wanted the Obama Administration to do for the Iranian protestors? There has been sanctions on Iran for the past 30 years. Their businesses can't operate in the U.S. and our businesses can't deal directly with Iranians. We deal diplomatically with them through a third party (Switzerland, I believe). We can't boycott them because Russia and China would break it. There isn't much more this administration can do to Iran.

Zero practically ignores pro-democracy movements and protests in Iran and the middle east, but calls the reinstatement of a Chavez dictator wannabe in Honduras who was openly defying his constitution, legislature, and courts.

CBS’ Chip Reid and Helen Thomas double teamed Robert Gibbs today at the daily press briefing on the “tightly controlled” town hall meeting President Obama will hold on health care. Gibbs kept saying lets have this discussion AFTER the meeting.
(ultra liberal democrat fossil) Helen Thomas accused the White House of “controlling the press.” She said almost all White House/Obama events are “prepackaged.” She accused the White House of not “having any answers.”

The secular modern liberals are so pathetic…they have no ethics or morality so they think that gives them a pass to hammer anyone who has if they fail.
The Party of serial adulterers JFK and WJC (presidents!) always has time to attack so as to avoid ever telling America why their secular socialism is superior. They never ever defend their religion of secular socialism with logic or common sense. We are not fooled.
The GOP guys pay and pay for their moral lapses while the democrats are held to no standard at all…we expect no ethics or morals from democrats…why should we? Morals are inferior to power for the angry secular socialist control freaks. The record is clear.
