You guys should check out Greenville Drive, they are a Single High A for Boston Red Sox. Really very competitive team in South Atlantic League.

Well, the Rangers win the Silver Boot from the 'Stros in 2009. But the Astros, interestingly, are 6-4 in their last 10 games, the best of all the NL Central teams.

Alright, guys, what's your assessment of all the races so far. Any surprises??

As far as Cooper is concerned, MC, I don't have official word for that. Drayton McLane and Ed Wade might not do anything, but you never know. On the positive side, the Astros had a good draft this year, so we'll be looking at some people that we hope will fit our system.

As for the Rangers, Canes, they do have it going on!

And my 'Stros pulled it out last night in extra innings over the Rockies. But they've still got to get out of last place. It can be done, and eight games back to make up is not insurmountable. It can be done.

Wow, look at Milwaukee. First-place tie with St Louis as of Wednesday morning. And they're doing it without Sheets and Sabathia. Imagine if it would stay like this into September. Stay tuned.
