Always looking for a new Betsy, most recently would like something really small to carry in the shoulder gym handbag. Not a real conceal carry, Brighton model however my LCR Ruger is too big... although it is lighter than my Mossberg 9 MM. Any suggestions?
Cheers..

My wife, who is relatively new at carrying carries a Springfield Hellcat. She likes the higher capacity but those 13 rounds can ad some weight. It's been utterly dependable with slightly under 1000 rounds through it. If sh wants a little less weight her newer choice is a Smith&Wesson 637 Airweight. 5 rounds of .38spcl+p. Not uncomfortable to shoot, for her, with those rounds despite its very light weight.

Of her small handguns the S&W would be my choice. My smallest handgun is a MR920 Shadow Systems which is = to a G19.

My Mrs carries a S&W 1911PD, (Commander size) the slightly smaller size and scandium frame & Crimson Trace grips made it shootable for her. She had a Glock 22 at first and said it was "Too snappy z7 too heavy". She didn't like my 1911 Govt. and one day she and several lady co-workers went to the S&W facility out in western Ma. and she came home with the 1911 PD. These days, she's likely to grab my Colt Mustang when going out.
I'd suggest finding a range which has a good selection of rentals and buy her the gun she finds comfortable enough to carry and can shoot well.

Does anyone have an opinion on Dimondback pistols, especially the DB9?

(BTW: thanks to Driver 47, I finally looked up "scandium" to see what it was all about.)

My wife’s handgun is a S&W model 60 5 shot, either in a concealed carry bag or a belt holster. She handles it well.
