Method: starting the feed truck
Taken with: Panasonic Lumix
Time: afternoon chores

His name is Spectrum Ranch Priority, not the largest in the herd but usually the first buck at the feed bucket.

wow, I wish deer down south had a rack like that. each side looks like a tree trunk. Someone needs to find a way to crossbreed that with the whitetails down here. Great picture.

Feel ''sorry'' for the deer that are hit by a motor vehicle, and suffer, until they die.

Default My October archery buck

This is the buck that I got in October. I have been after him for 2 years and finally sealed the deal before rut. I have trail cam pictures of him from last year. He grossed 166" and netted 159". I believe he is 4 1/2 years old. I nicknamed him Prince because I think I need a little bigger one before I can nickname one "King".

Wow. That's a lot of mass. He's going to be a beautiful buck at the start of the rut (big neck, an inch of fat over his whole body). Let him go another year to grow some drop kicks.

First dibs at the bucket, you say? That's one of my favorite parts of deer hunting: watching the enforcement of the pecking order.

Very nice!
What state did he come from? I live in CT & we get some biggies but not many compared to other areas.
