I'd like to get their 9mm carbine and add an ATI replacement stock. The only thing stopping me is the the 10 round mag. I'd like a 20+ round mag.

I have a 9MM that I am not impressed with. It is prone to jamming. It is not that accurate. After about 50 rounds last Friday I was able to get into some sort of groove.

The Springfields XDs are a far better gun. Also would look at a Sig. The Taurus might be closer in price range to the hi point but a better gun.

I'm told it takes about 500 rounds for a gun to settle down, break in period, I usually put that many thru one before I make a solid judgement.

It looks like Hi Point has a new line of carbines out. Besides a new look, they have added a 22LR.

I carry a good old reliable 38. Taurus. I could bathe it in mud and it would still do its job.
