Ok, so my hair is really, really thick and really curly. ( I'm puerto rican and dominican) it dries out very quick and I cannot count how many things I have tried. I am 16 years old and with school around the corner I would love to be able to keep my hair down longer past 2nd period (9 am) without looking like an untamed lion....
My question is could anyone recommend products for my hair that won't dry my scalp ( I HAVE to wash my hair every other day because it comes matted?), and hold my curls all day??
PS I have pantene already, can you recommend like a leave in?
Miss Jessie's products are good, however they can be a bit pricey. You can find them at Target as well. I like the Quick Curls product. Also, Eco Styler gel is good and its pretty cheap. Just use it with a leave in conditioner and your curls will last all day and be frizz-free.

Try Curls Souffle or Giovanni Direct Leave-In. And seal it with a little oil. Or you can try brushing through the curls in sections, using a thick conditioner with slip (and a Denman brush). This is called the "tightly curly" method (google it). Good luck.
Organix argan oil and deep condition your hair to keep away frizz. You may need it everyday or only once a week depending on your hair. If you hair has a nice strong spring to it check out conditioning dressings and spray oils from the african american section.
Yes, try the Ouidad products and watch the videos on the site. Well worth the price, imo.
