My hair unfortunately grows fast, and it's fairly short. I find I need to go in at least every 2
months to get it cut. 6 weeks is even better. I still use curlers and a curling iron, it's not
super short either.

Typically during the summer, hair seems to grow faster so more trims needed. It all depends on the cut and whether or not length makes the cut look sloppy or not. If money is an issue, find a friend and give each other trims in between cuts.
Every eight weeks sounds about right. But it depends on the cut. If I'm sporting a reallystructured cut, it's closer to 5 or 6 weeks. The last few years, I've had more of a Lisa Rinna type 'do, so I can stretch the appts out further..
I think this is only for women, but I'll throw in my two cents anyway. I'm a pretty boy and I take my hair quite seriously...I get it cut/shaped up every 3 weeks. Sometimes 2. Depending on how I feel about it.
I think every 6 to 8 weeks sounds right, but so much depends on your individual style and your budget. I make an appointment when I look in the mirror and go "Ugh!"
