I am a black woman with relaxed hair. It's been relaxed for many years. I've always had a problem with breakage and so it would never really grow like I wanted it to.
Last year I tried going natural - it lasted about 6-7 months. To transition, I did braids, then wigs, then roller sets. Extremely time consuming, and I hate how I look with short, curly hair. I've tried taking biotin supplements, using castor oil and burdock root oil on my scalp, and many different deep conditioning treatments, but the relaxed hair just keeps breaking and falling out. The new growth is super strong though.
How can I make my relaxed hair stronger or is it a lost cause?

My friends are mainly from the Caribbean originally but all are British now & living here in Wales. I was introduced to Pro-naturals Moroccan argan oil hair repair system back in 2014 and it restored my hair, admittedly mine is very straight, coarse Asian hair. I have suggested that my friends try it and so far it seems to have help 4 out of 6. Take a read and see what you think.
