I have been reading online about coloring according to skin tone and it's confusing...

I have read some things that say to contrast a cool skin tone with warm hair color and
other things say cool hair color for cool skin tone...

I have cool undertones in my skin & look best in "winter" color clothes
like blue, hot pink, black, white, purple..

I look awful in orange, yellow, greens, rust..
and not great in pastel colors...

My natural hair is dark blond with some gray..

My complexion is similar to yours. I found that colors marked A/Ash or N/Natural worked best for me, and I tended to like the ash tones a little better against my skin. I've heard that stuff about contrast, but the couple of times I tried it, I didn't like it a bit. To me it wasn't a contrast, it was a clash.

Thanks..
It makes sense that if warm color clothes look awful with our complexion that
the same rule would apply to hair color...

I am going to try an ash blond next !!
