Lately I've been seeing more and more men with a certain haircut. I almost want to say it looks like a standard short layered cut, but one that's grown out rather than intentionally styled. You can see that it's starting to curl up in the back.

Medium layered cut?

Also, I've seen a few men with haircuts that look kind of like a helmet. What's going on? Do they think it looks good? I think it looks kind of weird.

Ahhhhhh, hair salons and barbershops have been closed in most places for over a month (virus...remember?), hence the grown out hair. The helmet cut is most likely because they "tried" to cut their own hair, and failed.

Hahaha yeah I think it's called "no haircut."

Dang, how about giving us a break? Some of us have resorted to having our wives cut it in the driveway!

That's happening to me. I haven't seen my barber since March 4th and I am usually in every 3-3.5 weeks, so I'm probably at 2 cuts down so far. Been debating for a couple of days whether to try something on my own.

I finally gave in and used the clippers. I've done this in the past but it takes soo much time for me to get it right without truly messing it up. No 5 on the top and 2 on the sides and back. Not too bad. Hoping my barber is back in business sometime in May or June.

That's a very good style. The number 5 on top is the equivalent to finger length, just neater.

Thanks. I love the top and sides but the blending from the sides to top is off. Oh well. At least the hair is waay off my ears.

I think the blending is actually easier than the top and sides. I have to go over the top and sides over and over just to get all the hairs.
