I'm moving to the area this summer so the husband can teach at CNU. I'd like to live close to the university but it looks like York County's school system is the best. But my son is autistic. Is York a good place for special needs kids? Anyone have any suggestions or advice?

You should join peninsulamommies.com. There's a forum just for mothers of children with special needs. There's a fair number of ladies with special needs children (several of them autistic) in the local schools--I'm sure they'll be able to steer you in the right direction.
