Does anyone know if an inspection only station exist? I found a lot of repair shops that do inspection but can't seem to find one that only does inspection.

Thanks!

My guess would be no because you have to be a licensed mechanic to perform inspections.

Could anyone recommend a honest inspection station? I am female and sick of getting ripped off.

I don't know of an inspection-only place. I go to Integrity Car Care on Clearfield Ave in VA Beach. They have a listing of everything they check for inspection. My first year I failed on front tire tread, but they showed me why. This year I passed with no repairs needed. My car is 10 years old.

I use Courthouse Auto, at the corner of Princess Anne and North Landing. No troubles.

I use Able Auto Service in Virginia Beach. They're on S Military Highway just north of Indian River. They're honest, I trust them and they have never taken advantage of my lack of knowledge. Better call for an appointment though... the secret is out and they're always busy now. Their phone number is 523-0020.

I am in a similar situation, was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for the Williamsburg area instead? New to Virginia. Thanks!
