I used to live in York Co. til bout two yrs ago. I'm consideing moving back to HR from high-priced clogged NOVA. I'm considering Hampton, Newport News (not the east end), and Northern Norfolk. any advice for a future college grad? I want low rent but decently crime level. Any suggestions?

Rommate?
I would get a roommate if I could not afford at least 900 or so a month to live on my own in NN. I would never live anywhere for less than that in that area, maybe Wililamsburg or Yorktown or even Toano, but not those areas. There are some nice townhomes in the city of Williamsburg for rent, for bout a800 or so, and a nice place on top of the hill from the beach in historic Yorktown, if I had to rent again, that is where I would live, its very beautiful, quite and close to cultural events and places to shop.
