We use to live in Norfolk and moved away in 1996. We now live in Texas, but are coming back to visit in a couple of months. I've only been back once in 2000, and I, for the most part, remembered how to get around and all the roads and stuff. But now it's 8 years later and I'm sure there has been some changes. Back when we lived there, the area code was 804, and now it's 757. Anyways, has there been any road changes? Also, what are some good hotels to stay at? I can't wait to get back there!

The roads have been widened, but other than that, pretty much the same. There is the new Holiday Inn Express on Military Hwy next to the Airport Hilton, which is probably close to where you used to live. Chesapeake took Crossways Blvd. and turned it into hotel city for business travelers and visitors.

Thanks for the info! Hopefully, I will be able to get arond Norfolk and VA Beach with no problems as I think I remember most of the roads. Hopefully! LOL! I see that you are in VA Beach. We really wanted to buy a house there since it is nicer than Norfolk, or atleast in my opinion it is, but before we could buy a house there, we found out we were moving. I miss it there a lot and can't wait to get back to visit.

Also, and I don't mean to be greedy, but I am trying to get 50 reputation points so i can get a Custom User Title, and I would appreciate if you would give me some rep points(rate my posts). Thanks!
