There are both Amish and Old Order Mennonite settlements in southern Maryland, near Leonardtown and Charlotte Hall. Many of them sell produce, crafts, quilts, and furniture. Charlotte Hall, MD has a large flea market on Saturday, including some Amish vendors. They have been settled there since 1940.

There is a large Old Order Mennonite community near Harrisonburg and Dayton, VA - they have their own college there called Eastern Mennonite University.

PS- We leave Monday, 4/13 for the trip and after a week of Google-ing, I've come up with very little info.
No Amish in NC?
