Where in Norfolk or close-by can I get a decent Philly Cheese Steak just Provolone and Steak?? Is there local place like Jersey Mikes where they slice the meat FRESH in front of you?? (Not something like Jerry Steak And Subs..)
Please no Orange Goop or any other kind of Goop. Provolone Cheese Only. I tried Zeros and they tasted like Steak-Umms (Meat that came from a freezer and not fresh) and I tried Chanello Pizza and they don't even have provolone cheese (they use American and just toss it on the bread and throw the meat on top)

thanks.

OMG, there is a place on N. Tidewater Dr. They've got the best Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches with the real Philly stuff. Take the interstate to Tidewater North exit, go down the road a bit and it's on the right hand side.

Oh man, Plaza Azteca on Holland road is great. I was spoiled eating mexican food where there are mostly mexicans, but after eating there, it's one of my favorite places. I'm not big on Chinese food, figure I can make it at home with the ol' stir fry pan, at least I know the neighbors cat isn't in it or some poor lost puppy!

I've used deer before in Chinese food. I love it because people will go, "MAN! This is good beef." lol Suuuuurrrrrrrre iiiiiiissssss...

Back when I was in college, I had nothing but Asian friends. I've gotten use to dog, cat, and mouse in my food. Here, all the places I see for Mexican and Chinese look ratty from outside *no pun intended* and I never wanna try it. Then again, I'm on the meh side of Chesapeake so I might try going down towards Virginia Beach one time. Heck, there is a big enough population to have 2 Chinese churchs, there should be a big enough population to have a couple of good restaurants.
