Has anyone heard the fate of the Williamsburg Ukrop's? Will it close, become a Martin's/Giant or something else?

The news indicates that they will most likely become Martins Stores in the future. They also mentioned that Ukrops retained ownership of the prepared foods/ bakery operation and will start selling to to other grocers as well as Martins. Ahold is an aggressive company when it comes to growth. I would assume they will keep the Williamsburg VA store open and try to penetrate the Peninsula and Southside market. It did seem odd to me that they didn't use their Giant/ Landover MD division to acquire Ukrops. It would seem to be closer geographically.

As an FYI I used to be a supplier to Ahold in my previous life. I was living in the DC/ Maryland area when they bought Giant Food.
