I don't know if Macys will allow you to set up your beach chair in the store. Maybe at Ala Moana, perhaps Pearl Ridge on Oahu, but I think here on Maui at Kaahumanu they'd kind of frown on it. Of course on the Bigger Island anything goes. Best of luck!

Okay... I'm missing something here... what's with this poster's fascination about Macy's about? I mean, you're going to Hawaii... lots of places to see and things to do that you can't do in the mainland... not to mention learning about Hawaii culture... and all he's focused about is Macy's? What's the point of going to Hawaii?

I didn't say Macy's is one of the things Im interested in seeing on Hawaii, I just wanted to talk about Macy's. It's a large and historic company in the USA.

But none the less, Macy's at Ala Moana, with the right credit card and the wrong woman, can be an all day event.. And a LOT more expensive than that whale watching cruise... just sayin
