There ya go! It's not only us saying things like this, now they are writing it up as news.

Sure, like they'd know. They're even missing seven of the eighteen things.

Mainlanders

Apparently there was a typo in the article which has been corrected to read 11 Things Missing in Hawai'i:

Yay, another click-bait article from HuffPo with too many animated GIFs.

Well, we can easily guess what the 7 missing missing items are. Things that used to be missing, or that most people thought they wouldn't see in Hawaii:

12. Freeways in Pristine valleys
13. Costco
14. Traffic
15. Homelessness
16. Made in China
17. Chiquita banana (product of Ecuador)
18. Trash

Or what about the list of things that the tourist bureau doesn't tell you:
1. What, resorts, time shares, condos were not part of Hawaiian culture?
2. Polluted and dead reefs.
3. Drought, but everything is so green around my hotel?!?
4. Extinction capital of the US, rah, rah, rah.
5. Vog and cane smoke.
6. GMO test crops (so safe we test them on the most isolated islands).
7. Roadside dumping.

I believe you heard correct -- especially since Minnesota had the worst winter ever in 35 years!
