Wanted to delete this post but evidently it's too late...even though I just posted it not too long ago.

You have 90 minutes from the time you post something to edit it or delete it yourself. You can delete it using the edit function. It's one of the choices on the edit screen.

After that time you can ask the moderator to delete it, by sending them a pm, or by clicking on the triangle icon at the top right to report it.

Yes, I am aware there is suppose to be a time factor involved but oftentimes it does not apply. It happens all the time with my posts and then I have to ask them to delete them. Sometimes they do get deleted and sometimes they do not. It is what it is. I did report my post and asked that it be deleted.

It is clear from the time I posted that it wasn't 90 minutes.

Obviously you were still able to edit your original post, because you did. Perhaps you just overlooked the delete function? It's not hard to do.

Once you have clicked on Edit, and the Edit screen comes up, look at the lower right corner and the Delete button will be found next to the Cancel button.

Yes, I was able to edit. I've been on city-data long enough to know when the delete function is there and when it isn't.
