Next time we're on Oahu we will have to try to get to the bakery early. We can get malasadas here from Tex Drive Inn and some pretty good (although expensive) cookies from Donna's Cookies, but glazed poi doughnuts aren't available anywhere that I know of. Hmm, there's a small bakery in the KTA shopping center in Waimea, I'll look there for glazed poi doughnuts. Should I go nuts and get some of those Spam flavored mac nuts to go with the poi doughnuts (if I find them), do you think?

Usually, if we are gonna eat Spam it's more of a breakfast thing - a meat to go with eggs - than anything else. Although the Spam musubi from the corner gas station is probably actually the true method of most Spam consumption in our household. But if we are gonna open a can of Spam, it would most likely be a breakfast thing, whereas we don't normally eat mac nuts for breakfast. Do you suppose the mac nut folks are trying to get folks to eat mac nuts for breakfast by making them Spam flavored? You'd think they'd make them coffee glazed if they wanted folks to eat them for breakfast, though.
