I wonder if the longevity has anything to do with the amount of seniors living with family and/or in multi-generational homes?

Good Question! It could contribute to the longevity. The seniors will be less likely to be depressed if there is family around most of the time. Believe its all about staying active when you are older.

Well mental and emotional states are tied into overall health. Its not unreasonable to believe living in a place that is brighter sunny wise and brighter color wise will help with that state of mind. Not to mention stuff like smelling pikake and other flowers and seeing so much nature would have a positive effect also or being with loving caring ohana as you said sistah.

While that can be a factor, other demographic factors probably have a greater influence on longevity…

How many animals are native to Hawai'i?

Spoiler
Only two mammals are native to the islands, living here before humans arrived. They're both endangered now... the Hawaiian Hoary Bat, and the Monk Seal.
