Does anyone have any information on the police hiring process for Kauai? Also wouldn't mind info on Oahu or Maui PD. I have read the info provided on all of their website's /job description etc., but curious if anyone had any personal experiences they could share? Did you get hired? How long is the actual hiring process? Here it is usually 5-6 months, there 8-12 months? Hire mainlanders? Just for clarification, it isn't me applying, it's my husband. Please share! Thanks

honolulupolicehopefuls / FrontPage

I found this Police forum online. Looks like there has not been any activity for about Eight to Nine years.
It chronicles a Applicant, his process as an out of state candidate. Might give you some links to find out more information.

Welcome to this Wiki page. A chronicle of my own experiences as an out of state candidate in trying to become one of Honolulu's finest.
