fisherman deckhand job (Honolulu: how much, live, money)

Hey guys, I live and commercial fish in Alaska as a deckhand. I'm curious about the fisheries in Hawaii, if I wanted to go fish as a deckhand, what are the options that I have, how would I get paid and how much?

Hawaii does not have a huge fishing industry - so finding a job not as a local resident will be challenging at best.

Of the top 10 ports in the US, Alaska holds 6 of the top spots. Honolulu holds spot #6. Of the next top 10, Alaska has 4 of those spots.

Hawaii (Honolulu) only holds 1 of the top 128 spots. To top it off, Hawaii doesn't catch a lot in pounds, but it is worth money. The big money is Alaska or the East Coast.
