Any particular reason you decided to just put a link out with no text or opinion on the matter?
If you lived in Hawaii, you would know the article has about as bad of timing as it can get since most of the solar backlog has been cleared....
Last week, utility Hawaiian Electric (HECO) said it had approved all the delayed rooftop solar applications on Maui and Hawaii island that had been waiting since October, according to Jim Alberts, senior VP of customer service at HECO, who spoke at the Maui Energy Conference, as reported in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. Alberts said that all of the applications on Maui and the Big Island had been cleared, while 90 percent of the 2,749 pending applications on Oahu would be cleared by the end of April.

I'm still waiting and I'm high on the list. There rep said nothing about end of April and said Fall would be a safe choice.

That makes sense since the article says 90% will be cleared by the end of April and probably didn't want to give you false hope.
The did say we will get it no problem, though I will wait and see. I didn't wait, I installed so we can get the 2015 tax credits.

If you lived in Hawaii,
? Did you mean if you lived in hawaii currently? Because i know Rust Never Sleeps has a few decades over you in time in Hawaii.
99.9% would find it obvious it is currently . One cannot keep up on current events via YouTube or newspapers regardless of how long you've lived here in the past

Hmmm interesting that your the one deciding or bringing up who is credible and who is not constantly being your haole and don't even respect hawaii culture or local culture. Besides the mainlanders who have never been to our islands, in my honest opinion you know less about hawaii but know tons more about capitalism and mainland ways. Im just wondering where did you get your authority to decide who is credible and who is not? Because last i checked hawaii has a unofficial social order on things. Those born and raised tend to have higher credibility on our islands no matter how long they been away then rich mainland transplants?
Further, I have to disagree. In the case of living here in the past. You even try to discredit those living far decades longer.
Really? I live here - do you? (answer: no - not in 40 years)
