Which "they" do you mean? If you mean Hawaii, this is the third one in 14 years. There was a major outbreak in Maui in 2001 and a very small one in Oahu in 2011.

Yes, all of Hawaii. I lived on Maui for almost 20 years. Seems every year there were at least a few cases and yes 2001 had over 100 I believe. It was the year my first child was born there. What a welcome eh?

. We're visiting the east side of Hawaii Island from mid Feb. to beginning March, so I'm glad I saw this. Will make sure to bring mosquito repellent along with the high SPF sunscreen! It's for sure not going to stop me from making my first trip to Hawaii!

. We're visiting the east side of Hawaii Island from mid Feb. to beginning March, so I'm glad I saw this. Will make sure to bring mosquito repellent along with the high SPF sunscreen! It's for sure not going to stop me from making my first trip to Hawaii!
