You sure did...

Apparently you are unaware that you can use different words, phrased in different ways to express the exact same thing. Examples can include but are not limited to the following -

- Rent on a small house will start at $3,000/mo
- A small house will rent for at least $3,000/mo
- You can rent a small house at a minimum $3,000/mo
- Expect to pay $3,000/mo and up for a small house

Again, all of the above mean the exact same thing. No thanks necessary for your English lesson of the day.

Shoot - I forgot you went to Hawaii Public Schools and "figure" (meaning about) and "at least" (a minimum) means the same.

Yep.

Wait. So now you're saying the word "figure" means "about"?

Let's try that in a sentence - "To rent a small house about $3,000/month or more"

Any other intelligent forum member (yes even including Hawaii public school grads like myself) understands what "figure" meant in your statement - "expect" or "assume". Definitely not "about".

You're just digging a deeper hole. You should have just stuck to your "living in <400 SF = pathetic life" mantra.

It fits your personality much better.

Really???? A problem with about $3,000/month or more?

Worse than I thought in the Hawaii Public School system.

Those tiny houses must scramble the brain.

Still digging I see.

The word figure can mean a number of things - "about" is not one of them.

Your arrogance is quite the spectacle.

One wonders why employers in Hawaii ask "what school did you go to" and only in Hawaii they reply with a high school - and guess what, when you proudly proclaim "Roosevelt" or some other Hawaii Public School - many interviewers reject you on the spot. Only in Hawaii.

Wonder why?
