About $2000 for a cesspool, $6000 for septic.

well, you could buy land (fee simple) and own it. with such a short period of time left on the lease, i don't understand why anyone would have purchased a unit in the kailuan? another perspective would be that it would have been a good investment if you divided her $20,000 by 4 years and compared it to market rents in kailua. she would never have been able to rent a place for under $500/month.
