My internet+phone+cable had reached $266/month with Spectrum (yes, I have all the premium channels) - and decided to cut the cord. The $40/month rental fee for 2 boxes with DVR and Spectrum's unwillingness to waive the box fee's was the last straw - it was more principal than the actual cost.

I moved to this package:

Youtube TV + 4k option (which includes unlimited cloud DVR) with Starz/Epix/Cinemax/HBO/Showtime is $135/month.

I have Hulu with Disney+ and ESPN+ Bundle for $20/month.

I switched to Hawaiian Telcom promo of 500MBPS Fiber with whole home Google Mesh for $60/month for 2 years. No installation or setup fee.

I get HBO Max for free via my ATT unlimited plan. We get Netflix free via significant others TMobile plan.

I have Apple TV devices which upscales the signal to DolbyVision/DolbyAtmos on my LG OLED TV's,

YouTube TV is awesome with local live channels.

I've dropped my bill $50/month - have far more channels - much better picture - more than doubled my internet speed and the only issue I have is I didn't do it sooner.

Yup, Spectrum priced themselves out of the market.

When I called Spectrum - I said, it is really the monthly cable box fee that really gets me bothered. I'll keep the service if you work with me on those fees specifically.

Over and over the rep just wanted me to do massive downgrades to lower the price and still keep box fees. The YouTube TV via an Apple TV device provides a much better experience than what you get on a 4K TV via a cable box. I was skeptical to cut the cord - now just annoyed didn't do it sooner.

I've never had buffering issues with any of the streaming services.

I agree. Add to the same list as you, I also have Amazon Prime that has a wonderful collection of Classic Film ; it's wonderful to have access to so many outstanding oldies.
